A Proper Hamburger and A Proper Tourist Trap!

Most of our week days in London are fairly structured based on my schedule for class, or class events and activites, but the weekends are usually ours to do with them as we please, last weekend we went to Leicester Square (which is all torn up and being remodeled in preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games--ughh), and Picadilly to purchase our tickets to The Gruffalo.  Afterwards we went to lunch at Byron Burgers.  Byron is a favorite of ours from our Fall 2010 trip, we used to eat at the one right by Holland Park, well you can hardly throw a stone near the West End, or Kensington without hitting a Byron now, so we went to the Haymarket location for a "proper hamburger."

Afterwards we walked back up to Leicester Square because the kids wanted to go in the new M&M store.  As much as I LOVE m&m's (actually I much prefer mini m&ms these days), I've been in the store in Vegas about 10 years ago, and the store honestly didn't hold any interest for me.  My memory is that is whole lot of overpriced m&m paraphernalia and this store definitely looked crowded.  When I went to the store in vegas back in 1998 I guess, it was pretty cool that you could get any color of m&m, but you can get just about any color of m&m at Michael's and other places now a days.  M&M World London was, as I suspected, a proper tourist trap, but they kids enjoyed it, and we got a few cute pics, and let them each create their own mix of personally chosen colors.

This is Carolina Grace doing a ballet pose, I believe, maybe just posing for a picture.  She really likes to pose for pictures these days. :)
Those cheeky m&m's copying our daigneaultimate header from Fall 2010. ;)

I guess that I am just a sucker for a tourist trap because that. looks. AWESOME. :)

Did they have MAROON M&Ms??? Those sound really good, way better than any other color.
